This interactive heatmap collects data from the National Institute of Statistics on suicide in Spain by province since the year 2000. With the upper bar you can select the year, the distribution of the data (total, men, and women), and its presentation (absolute values or per 100,000 people).
By placing the cursor on each province, you can see its data: total number of suicides in the selected year, rate per 100,000 people, distribution by sex, and age.
Finally, a graph is shown with the evolution of suicides from 2000 to 2020. The presentation of the data presented here is the sole responsibility of the Platform.
